yes, 5th gen AEs (2001 iirc) or 5.5gen six spokes look nice. Look around the forum/cardomain alittle and you can prob. find a 4th gen in your color with some 5th gens. BTW "nice" is a point of view.

ive got the 5th gens, the 5.5's do look better, i like the lugs as opposed to the cap, but i will definately be going with something lighter my next purchase (this combo weighs in at 48 lbs, and these tires are considered pretty light)

sorry for the glare, and the unsettled springs, hehe

Those 5th gen rims do look nice on the 4th gen max. I have a 97 max and I have the 2005 350 Z 17" rims on my max. Ill post up a pic.

tekneekz, not to be a *****, but you're getting on my nerves with these repeat posts .. I'm sure you could look on cardomain for these because this is a repeat thread, and it gets old ...

Don't forget Infiniti, there are some good wheels to chose from. 2000 Q45 Touring wheels for example, look at the sig for an example.

would a 4th gen be able to recieve a set of 5th or 6ht gen rims? cuz there are alot of them on ebay that claim to be retrocompatible.

which would look better on a 4th gen, 17" chrome or 18" silver-alloy (they cost the same)?

i ask because I had an 84 nova in H.S., and my dad gave me a set of 17" for my birthday, and then I had to raise the suspention on it just so that it didn't rub the body when I tried to turn (looked pretty good though :-D). Will i be able to replace my 15" hubcap looking alloys without any further mods (suspensions, offsets, etc.), and if so how big can the rims be?

i agree. Silver alloy would give it a more agressive look than chrome.

i think it has something to do with the color of the car, I have the same color on mine, and I don't like it cuz it doesn't really stand out (thats the idea with beige!!) even if the color does a good job at always looking clean, I'm thinking of getting mine repainted to Amethyst Silver or Graphite. what do you think?

tell you the truth i love the color of those rims on beige. when i got my car these were the rims i wanted. i mean light color rims and a light colored cars is always a plus imo. i love the way it flows and doesnt scream too loud. i mean i wasnt going to put racing rims becasue the car was stock and gold, but now i want some TE37S BABY!

yeah, those would look awesome on a max. depending on you caliper and/or rotor configuration. In my case I'd need to replace mine cuz the MAX is a boat and my OEM brakes suck.
