Sunroof Closing?

Well I have a problem with my sunroof from my 92 maxima when you look at it from the outside it doesn't look closed fully one side is straight and the other is going down. When I checked it inside the car you can easily push up on the sunroof then it looks flush on the outside. Whats the problem? Is the sunroof bad, I need a new one? Can it be tighten help me out thankss

Never dissected a maxima sunroof, but others that have this problem are most often caused by worn/broken guides in the cassette. Best bet is to dig into it. Did you check the FAQs for any write-ups? A FSM is also nice for this kind of thing. Great investment.

Ive had this problem, usually if I slightly tilt it open it becomes flush with the roof. Kind of a hassle, but keeps it water tight.
