My luck with suspension sucks. When you install AGXs do you need the AGX strut mount from KYB? It is any different then the one from Nissan. My car began to ride extremely rough today. So i popped the hood bc i have a funny feeling, well the whole top of the strut popped off. The threads and all So i need to replace the strut. I think it was the nissan strut mount which caused the problem. The hole in the strut mount was rounded out to an oval.

You need new mounts, you can buy just the inner part from Nissan or KYB.

If you're wooried about your car gettn stolen

I recenlty bought a theft recovery system from Lojack Corp. I opted to go with them over onstar because onstar can not track vehicles in deep parking garges, Lojack can. After all the money i dumped into my car, i want it back if anyone somehow stol my baby.

no it didnt happen to the one put in yesterday. The one put in yesterday is holding up strong. Im worries that KYB is not going to replace my strut. here is a copy of the warrenty information:

1. To make a claim under this warranty, return the worn-out or defective unit with copy of the dated Proof of Purchase for the unit to the dealer from whom it was purchased or to any KYB dealer for verification and exchange under this warranty.

2. The KYB Warranty Claim Tag must be completed and attached to each shock absorber being returned. Warranty tags are available from your Distributor or KYB Representative. The claim must include the customer's name, current address and phone number and a complete description of the defect or complaint.

3. Return the entire shock (with mountings still intact so KYB can test it) to your KYB supplier. It will be replaced with a new shock absorber of the same Part Number.
