Call VORTECH ONLY....If you call Stillen they will lauph in your face.

Vortech will give you a RAN number...take your blower off your plate, pulley off, and send it in a box to them with that number...they will call you when you need to pay

A T-Trim will create boost quicker and rev up alittle bit quicker with alot more potential for power...go to vortech's site, it explains it all

I've heard that if Vortech finds out the blower is from a Stillen kit they will make you contact Stillen first.

I wouldn't let them know in the first place. Tell them it is off one of their Mustang kits.

for the feed line, get a -04 AN plug.

for the oil return, take a ziplock baggie and wrap it around the plate and then duct tape it. i ran that way for 2-3 months.

When you say upgraded to a t-trim, is it rebuilt to a t-trim, or do you give them yours and pay the difference for a new one?

Thanks for the part info, slimer!

One question: with the blower removed, how did you hook up the air filter?

Black Cat I thought you recently got your blower rebuilt ??

You can simply remove the chrage piping and rig up your filter somehow after your MAF...maybe if you have a MAF adaptor you can use that.

Do I need to separate the blower from the mounting plate before I send the blower in for a rebuild? The allen bolts won't budge a bit and I don't want to strip the bolts.

yes you do...and take the pulley off as well..they want a "naked" blower...

On my Blower I used WAY too much Red Loctite (dont use) and I had to have a bolt head welded on to one of the bolts to have it removed using a wrench...I learned from that and used Blue next time

Take it to a shop or a friend that has air tools. If the bolts are still being stubborn because of too much Loctite, use a torch to heat up the bolt head. That will soften the Loctite.

I had no problems with the allen bolts. I just used the appropriate allen keys, otherwise take it to a local garage and ask them to loosen them for you.

It does not matter if you tell them it is from a stillen kit! I had mine done over xmas time. Cost me $500 even with a new impeller. I gained 4/10 of a second in the quarter mile with the fresh blower! Still loud as hell but alot smoother and I would not trade it for a v2. Go for the t trim if you got the extra $$$ I did notice boost came a little faster and pulled alot harder but I did drive with it until it was toast
