H-beam style rods strong enough for f/i application?

Well, I'm finally breaking down and hauling the engine out to do a total teardown and rebuild, and while I'm going all motor right now, I may consider the stillen s/c at a later date, and this is the reason for my question. I've managed to find H-beam style connecting rods for the VQ30DE and I was just curious, while I'm confident that they'll stand up to heavy N/A use, I'm concerned as to if F/I, even if only moderate, would cause them to fail... I don't really want to do another rebuild when I decide to go with the s/c, I'd rather just get it bolted on and be done with it. Anyone got any advice?

I've seen Eagle and Scat H-beams used in applications well into 500hp in other imports without issues, you'll be fine. but who makes H-beams for the VQ30??

I'm thinking he might have misread because Eagle does make H-beams for the VG30, but I have yet to see them for the VQ30

The stillen SC kit for our cars doesn't have the flow capacity to overpower stock rods, let alone aftermarket ones. Maybe if you upgraded to a different trim you could but the likelyhood of someone doing enough to an SC maxima to make aftermarket rods in danger of failure is roughly nil.

How about with a roots style blower rather than centrifugal? It's doubtful I would go that route, but I'm weighing all possibilities.
The reason I ask is that, made out of the same metal, I can't see how an H-beam would be more structurally sound than a solid stock rod.

Where did you find a roots blower for the VQ. Are you going to duct tape one from a Lighting? Thats going to take a lot of JB weld.

There is no roots blower "for" the VQ as you know. But it has been done. Craig Mack had one on his car for about 4 days before the car got totalled.
