I got a 2002 maxima gle and want to make it look nice, but have never really even waxed a car, because my cars have always been sh!ty.

Please give me the low down step by step on how to wash wax, polish, etc and which products to buy to do it (and where the cheapest place is to get them if you know).

from the threads i gather that the porter cable 7336 may be good and seems like lots of people use some kind of clay and microfiber towls, but i would like details if possible

I bought a PC 7424, Meguier's Quik Clay, and NXT wax from autopia.org and some leatherique from autogeek.net.

Tons of information on both sites as well as in the stickies. I read both sites extensively (sp) and kinda followed along. Not too complicated what I did: wash, clay, polish with PC, wax with PC, take pics, and enjoy ... read around and good luck.
