Ok, so here's the problem. I am in the stage where I am going to mount the crossover boxes...but I won't be able to mount them on the sides unless I cutback the frame. So what would you do?
OPTION 1: Leave out the crossover boxes and just wrap the peice as is. It will look completley flush with the trunk.
OPTION 2: Cut back the sides of the frame and mount the crossover boxes. It won't look as flush, but all of the equipment can be shown off.

I thought you would like that one! Seriously, don't sweat the small stuff. I would be inclined to adopt the most practical solution, recognizing that its just in the trunk and you will only see it when you open it to access/put away something. Its not like you're trying to align a CF hood perfectly.

I'm not sure but that box looks BIG. I had a 3.0 cu. ft. box in my Pathfinder and started to hate it because I lost all my storage. I went to a 1.cu ft. with an Infinity perfect 12" and it has the same bass and I have most of my storage back. Bigger is not always better.
