BOSE HU question

BOSE HU question

I know they don't have an internal amp but if I installed one into a NON BOSE car could I just wire a small amp up to the HU and it work properly with my current factory speakers?

not sure, I'm having problems of my own, cd player went out. Wanted to replace but was told the entire car would need to be re-wired completey BOSE free.
