what kind of time?

ok I have a 3rd gen turbo that i ran 13.9 with a bad knock and street tires on crome rims a while back. My 60ft was 2.3that was done on 10psi on a stock ct26.

Ok im currently working on getting the money up for these mods and wainting on my cams to get back.

But with these new mods what do you think i could run?

Ported throttle body, intake manifold HEADS and ported exhaust mainfolds.
Lighten flywheel
udp
isky cams I think the grind is like 258/260. Stock is 242/242
Et streets on tt z rims for the front
ANd not last but least a upgraded ct26 with a 60-1 and a 10 degree clip.

ANd im going to try to turn up the boost to like 15 or 16psi.
tell me what do you think i might could run and what i may break

p.s boosted maxima has already ported the heads and manifold and no cams up grade and gained 7mph on his trap speed in the 1/4

There aren't many turbo guys. I think MtCookson had the only running turbo VG, but he never got everything totally sorted out.

I would think that you should dyno it and get everything tuned, then it will be easier to tell what you should be running at the track. Since your mods are individual to your car and you didn't follow someone else's work, it is difficult to say what the times "should" be.

The things that could break are going to be your tranny (I don't know if Nissan really makes a "bulletproof" tranny), the motor and tranny mounts, axles and cv joints. Just think of where the weak spots are. My biggest worry would probably be the tranny. Even VE 5-speeds crap out on a lot of guys.

Props for all your work, though.

instead of getting the turbo clipped...get a correct sized turbo instead.

danny the ct26 seems to work well with the vg30. I get real nice spool times stock. I got full boost by 2700rps.
Mtcookson could have full boost by 2300rpms but I would just run away from him like he was tied on.
So I would say im going to stick with getting a upgraded ct26 with maybe no clip

i pretty much have everything sorted out and can run it... but i have to buy a few more things to run it at the local track because they really suck

also the ****ty trannies are made by borg warner. the trannies nissan makes (most rwd) have been proven to be very strong. the TTZ 5-speed for instance has been proven to handle 600 hp very well. borg warner just sucks *****. i hate them with a passion.

alright, my friend is trying to sell me his 80 trim T3/T4(rojay or something like that) turbo because on his integra it would only spool up at 6500. What results as far as spooling issues do you guys think i would have with the 80 trim and the jwt 450 package? Can a tranny be fortified for 500 or less?

dood... do the math yourself. get the compressor map for that turbo and start crunching some numbers. there are TONS of resources out there for that stuff.

If you learn to do it yourself you won't have to ask so many simple questions.
