Has anyone swapped the 5.5 gen cluster into a 5th gen. I see alot of 5th gen owners installing the chrome gauge rings, but is it possible to install the whole thing, or take it apart and swap the individual parts. Pics would be great too..

 

No difference, only in cluster faces

 

So I guess a better question, could you swap the faces, needles, and rings? Lets also assume that I can get a 5.5 gen cluster for like 10 bux from the junkyard Wink

 

Yes, you'd need only swap the faces, though.

If you want to make your ten bux back, sell me what's left over. Wink.

$2,600 in equipment waiting to go in...but I think it's gonna be a loooooong time with the way teh projects are going right now...way more time-consuming than I EVER anticipated.

If you find somewhere to get clear needles,or red ones i can make clear,let me know. Not suprisingly,nobody online seems to want to sell just the needles from their clusters.
