Finally found my Sunroof and Hood!!

Well, as I was calling around today, I ran into a junk, no salvage (must be politically correct these days) yard that had 2 gen 2's (87's) that were pretty much complete. I snatched both sunroof glasses as I needed one and was hoping that someone else on the board was in the same situation I was with their's broken. These are $560 at Nissan. All of the on-line yards wanted $150-$400. I was about to "give up" when I called this one yard locally. He had these two that were virtually complete. I am doing this as a service anyone needing the "extra one" and am not making a dime. I got them for $75 each!!! It will fit 1/86-8/87 according to my parts book. Any takers? If not, I am storing it on a shelf in the garage. I also picked up a Gen 2 SE rear spoiler to put on my GXE, but am beginning to think that would be pretty corny; a two-toned car with a spoiler. I paid $45 for it with decklid. Let me know ASAP or I am keeping them. I hope Mr. Moderator doesn't move this to the F/S section as I have seen all of about 2 parts in there for our beloved years 85-88. To the point that I don't even bother to look there for my needs. I think we are a VERY dying breed. If anyone needs anything else, let me know and maybe I can get it for you. I really don't want to be overwhelmed with requests (they make me take off the parts), but I do want to help my fellow Max.org friends.

Nice, what color is the spoiler? If it matches the top color, you probably don't have much to worry about. If not, www.paintscratch.com is the best place to find paint matched by paint code.

That brings up a point....any opinions about what a spoiler would look like on a GXE, two-tone? Is it a bit much? Thanks

Never seen a two tone with a spoiler. Im trying to get that same look. Most if not all the SE's were one color.

I think that as long as the spoiler matches the color of where it attaches to, it'll look fine. There wasn't any 2 tone SE's for sure. I think it'll look fine considering its the factory spoiler. Now if it was a 10 foot wing, I'd have some concerns about your sanity.

Yeah, I don't think he planning to get a different spoiler....he's wondering if the factory spoiler on a 2 tone car is going to look gawdy or not.
