so here's the deal, my boy just bought a 2k max that was missing a single fog light. the dealership he bought it from said they would replace but took their sweet time and ended up getting him a fog light installation kit straight from nissan. it had 2 brand new light and all the bolts wires and relays. it also had the switch that goes on the steering column in place of the other switch. he already had fogs, so he doesn't need the switch. i recently put in fogs on my GLE and wanted to use this for my max. he's giving it to me for free, so i was wondering if this would be an easy thing to do. also the 2k maxes have auto headlights, and i was thinking i could hook this up while im at it, so is this possible? what do i need to do? thanks

 

As far as swapping the light switches between the two, it won't work. The parts are of a different size and the pins are different. As far as the "auto" feature like the 5th gener's, it "probably" could be done, but it's not worth it. Extensive rewiring, relays, sensors, grounding, etc. are involved.
