Maxspeed springs- Anybody have these??

My friend bought these for me as an early b-day gift and I wanted to know are these springs any good? I read on maxmods.dyndns.org that they ride a little stiffer than H&R's. Anybody have any experience with them that they can share because I'm probably going to throw them on next week with some GR2's(would have gotten AGX's but I got the GR2's for 160 for all four)

H&R's are the best to handle Ny roads, so if there a little stiffer, i'd say there good

I've had Maxspeeds and gr2s on my car for about 3 years now. Definitely a stiffer ride than stock.

As far as the quality of the maxspeeds go, the paint is all cracked and they're pretty much rusted. We've had some rough winters. I'll probably have to replace them next year. Not a bad run considering the price.

Since you got them for free, I'd say toss them on there.

I've had maxspeeds on the car about a year and a half now, like everyone has said, they do ride stiffer than stock, though I've never ridden on H&R's so I don't know how they compare. Handling is greatly improved.

In regards to quality, the paint on mine is holding up relatively well, few cracks, no rust (yet). I'm happy with them, and I paid for them, so if you got them as a gift I'd definitely say go for it.

5th Genners like the Maxspeeds, but it has been said by some that they tend to sag in the back, but that could just be a 5th Gen thing. Overall, I've not heard many bad things about Maxspeeds at all... besides, like someone already said, they're "free" anyways, so just throw em on there...

ive had my maxspeeds with kyb gr-2's for almost a year now....ride is stiffer than stock....eliminates some of the wheel gap....i have noticed the rear alittle lower than the fronts but not super noticable....little rust on the springs....(bad winters in minnesota).....overall not a bad setup...cheap and pretty and good
