Moog screwed me over with tie rods

Moog Chassis Parts "The problem solver" yeah right. I ordered two tie rod ends since one was shot and while on my 2nd one removed, I go to put the rubber boot and noticed it was way too big for tie rod end. Then the supplied bolt was way to large. Friend drove me to an autoparts store and they did have the bolt, but not the boot. So now I am in a bind with one replaced tie rod and the steering wheel is off as it is since the 1st one was installed last night.

If only Moog gave me the right hardware package I'd be fine. =(

ok then buy the OEM...correct bolt and boot every time.

only thing is you pay for it....is it worth it to you?

ding ding ding.

there are certain parts that you ONLY buy OEM.. there are others that you can skimp on.. I've found that stuff like tie rods, wheel bearings, and engine parts, you should only buy the OEM. you pay a few bucks more, but you KNOW they're going to last another 100,000 miles and they'll fit perfectly. it's worth that extra $10 a piece to only have to do the job once.

Moog is supposed to be hands down top quality for aftermarket parts from what everyone says.

You mean internetautomart? Yes, I ordered from him. I sent him a PM and e-mail and nothing thus far.

I want to get this hardware so I can get the 2nd side installed so I can get an alignment.

moog gave the wrong hardware pack, if I'm understanding you correctly.
I haven't replied yet because I'm getting a new hardware pack sent out to you.
I do get a tad busy at times.

Thanks Brian, I appreciate it. I didn't mean to sound mean, but was in a rush to get a solution. Looking forward to the hardware pack!

Will be ordering an alternator and brake pads from you shortly!

Never heard of a refurbished clutch kit. Clutch kits are not that expensive anyhow. AC Compressors on the other hand are.
