Keep saving for 17" Rota Subzero's
Re-do vinyl door pillars
Possibly LED the interior

That's probably about it.

I would reccomend Redline MT-90 or AMSoil over royal purple.

Everybody who doesn't already have a Haynes manual, or alternatively Chilton's, should buy one and become conversant with it. There will be no book report in September.

Im really not sure how this goes, but after seriously driving my max for a few days, it seems slow as fawk, and its my first car...even my friend's auto cavalier feels faster for some reason. No CEL, but i guess i'll drive to autozone and i REALLY REALLY hope i have a faulty knock sensor because i had high hopes for the maxima quickness, but its not providing that at the moment. I know a 5th gen 3.0 is supposed to be A BIT faster than the 4th gen, but my dad's 5th gen is 45213452345 times faster than my 4th gen!!!

Sometime during the summer, i'll drive over to Felix's and order a y pipe without my parents knowing because i need more power, i can't stand this ******* slowness. I disconnected the intake resonator under the battery tray, and now i cant even spin the tires from the line...WTF?!? Connected it back, and i STILL can't spin the tires from the line, and no, i dont have sticky rubber.

My other plans were to get rims, but a smart man named doodfood talked me out of getting rims for a non lowered car, and now i understand why he told me that. If all goes well with the new high paying job i have, i might get my parents to let me lower the car w/ my $$, and maybe then i'll save up for some volk rims. I realized that being cheap is not the way to go with rims.

damn feels like i just typed an essay

5spd swap over a weekend if I can find a tranny. I have all the other parts. I will have red/clear tails in a few weeks. I'm starting my first job on Monday though and will probably dedicate a lot of time to it before my car meaning Saturdays in the office.

OEM spoiler - few weeks ago
Clear corners - 2 weeks ago
Red/clears - last week
HIDs - 2 days ago
Swap the 15" steelies for 2k1 SE rims - on the way
Suspension (S-Tech, Illuminas, RSB, FSTB) - in 3 weeks
Complete brake job (rotors, pads, ss lines) - in 1.5 months
Interior LED work - whenever...
And of course careful maintenance and care of the body and engine.

Konak85, his is readily available, good luck finding red/clears under $400, 97-99 dont have to worry about that.

The "under $400" was Ebay end of auction pricing

i just got a few grand from a federal pell grant, so plans would be
-00VI
-Warpspeed B-Pipe w/ Resonator
-Lightweight 18" wheels (not sure which one tho) w/ P235/40R18 Kumho Ecsta Supra tires (cuz my dad gets wholesale prices on Kumho tires)
-OEM Cefiro headlights w/ 4300K hi/lo HID kit (already purchased, except the HID kit)
-Red-out the amber on my taillights
-Front Bank O2 Sensor
-Redline MT-90 Manual Tranny Fluid
-5th gen clutch (purchased already, waiting for stock clutch to go out)
-Slotted rotors (stock brakes have been resurfaced so much, its thinning) w/ some new brake pads (not sure which one)

the list is probably going to grow, but hopefully ill get most or all of this stuff done by the end of the summer, my maxima is going to be a completely different car, at the moment, it looks too stock, only modded giveaway the fact that its lowered, shaved emblems, and clear bumper lights.

Hmm...ideally I will get a full time position at work so I can afford this all, but here's my current list of future mods:

-clear corners
-switching to synthetic oil
-ypipe (not sure what brand--something quiet)
-k&n filter
-new muffler to replace my rusty one (probably just OEM)
-brighter headlight bulbs (Silverstars maybe?)
-speakers (Infinity's)
-blue interior LED's (if I could find somebody to help me!)
-chrome gauge rings
-maybe a new CD deck
-possibly a spoiler?
-at some point I'd like to get an I30 back seat with headrests then reupholster it to match my car
-pay off my car! Which is why I won't be able to do this all!

In a perfect world, I would be saving up for a 300ZX and a used Toyota 4Runner as well...

Now that I finally replaced my worn-down clutch with a 5th gen one, here's what I have in my list:

1) AGX + S-Tech + good alignment
2) Budget or Cattman Y-pipe
3) custom 2.5" B-pipe
4) change muffler from Flowmaster Delta 40 to Magnaflow axle-back
5) hopefully by mid-fall, custom paint job (something like a silver or smoke gray)
