Power Steering Pulley

Alright so i was thinking about this the otherday and it kinda makes sense. I want tighter steering, if i take off my current ps pulley and replace it with a bigger one will it make it tighter because of the less rps's for the pump? Not really sure if this is possible or is anyone makes the parts but somone must know.
thanks

I am not quite sure how the power steering really works but its a hydrolic system thus it is dependent on fluid pressure which the pump preshurizes, the steering gear allows the fluid into the piston. If you put a bigger pully on the pump it is possible it will increase the pressure, unless it has a sensor which it probobly does. Even if you do increase the pressure in my opinion it isnt a good idea becaouse you might blow somthing.

i want to decrease the pressure (hence the bigger pulley which would move the pump slower) how does that sound?

I dont know, i stared at the pump diagram i dont see if it has presshure regulation or not, so i do not know if itll do anything but make it less responsive becaouse itll take the pump longer to build up pressure. Just dont know enought on how it works sorry

That doesn't work, would be the same thing as a UDP which also does not effect the power steering.

Go buy a 99, we have nice tight steering.
