New Sparkplugs: NEW WIRES?

Hey:

I am about to change my spark plugs. Should I be changing the wires as well? my car as 110K miles, and I don't think they have ever been changed.

If needed: Should I get OEM, dealer, web, Price? etc.

thanks for the help.

Your car doesn't have wires. Get NGK platinum plugs (OEM) from any of the online Nissan parts dealers (discount) - look in the group deals forum for Midway Nissan - good service and good prices.

our engines have coil packs, that sit directly above the plug. Read the chilton's or haynes and it explains it all to you.

You can replace the wires - its called the engine harness and if you buy it now, we'll give you the special price of 1295.00 including shipping.

Your car has electronic ignition, not the older distributor->spark plug wires type ignition. Cheers and welcome to the 4th Gen. We are a fun bunch.

The mileage won't necessarily dictate when the coil packs need to be changed; engine performance will.

Fat doesn't just DETERIORATE, it takes a little working out. And besides if you look at your spark plugs do you have to chase wires around to figure out which one goes where on a DISTRIBUTOR? Come on look at your engine and get to know it before posting dumb questions.
