just picked up my max from nissan. had the act street clutch installed. very sweet. picks up as soon as you let up off the pedal. makes quick shifts quicker and little loss of revs. worth the money. also had the flywheel resurfaced.

Yeah, I have the same clutch. It's a very nice unit. Actually drives a lot better than the stock clutch...no shudder or crap like that. It's almost worth upgrading just for the better driveability. Car feels a lot less cheap now.

can this clutch withstand a supercharged MAX or does ACT have another application for that.

i think this set up is plenty for a sc max because it holds up to 300 to 400 ft/lb toruqe. but they make more beefy clutchs.

Thats funny,

I just got my ACT street plate inststalled today too! My first impressions of it is that it will definatly take a little getting use too because as soon as you let the clutch up it goes, another words it is very sesative so if your not use to it it will be easy to stall out{I did once}.

About the qestion, can it with stand a SC? Yes, it is rated at I believe 364 TQ, a member here uses this clutch and has a SC and NOS and it holds great for him.

nismo2020, Make sure you break the clutch in VERY Gentley for the first 200-300 miles of city driving becuase if you don't it will never perform right and it will not last very long{I speak from experience}.

Vinipux, I paid like $375ish at www.ptuning.com , that price includes S/H. There service was great too!

I was thinking about seeing if you could get me a ACT Clutch but I needed it in a rush, so I was forced to find someone I could talk to ASAP and ship it out VIA over night delivery. Maybe next time

Get the ACT street Plate, it holds all your power unless you have like 500 HP. The 4 puck and 6 puck Clutches are designed for dragsters only, another words they are not user friendly and can destroy your tranny rather easaly, so just get the Street plate one like me and every one else.

Yeah, it's pretty tricky with the 4 and 6 puck clutches, though they're good on the track, anyone here actually got one, I'm curious to know what it's like in fwd.
