my friend just got a bmw 325 and removed all the stock audio. he said i could have it. its 10 speakers including 2 subs its a Harmon Kardon Logic 7 system. I current have a clarion head unit and infinity kappa perfects, with 400 watt infinity perfect sub. is it worth to time to install 10 speakers in my maxima 3rd gen. Also can i run the speakers off my current head unit, or do i have to use the BMW head unit.

 

i belive the harmon kardon setup has amps in the car, just like the bose setup in our cars or something similar to it

 

why would you want 10 speakers? more is not necessarily better. i would invest in some good components to go up front.

 

Complete waste of time and energy to try to wire it up, yes you would need the amp as well. Located in the rear driver quarter IF you really wanted to attempt the task. Ive worked on Many BMWs and a simple set of good components and a set or decent rear fill easily killed the sound of the stock HK system.
