MaximaN's Results from 6-11 in Madras, OR

1st Run
RT - 1.125
60' - 2.249
MPH - 76.38
ET - 9.526

2nd Run - Popped right out of 1st gear on launch

3rd Run
RT - 1.178
60' - 2.454
MPH - 76.16
ET - 9.835

4th Run
RT - 0.745
60' - 2.548
MPH - 77.28
ET - 9.844

Each run I tried to get a harder shift from 1 - 2. What I didn't realize until after we got home and watched the videos is that each time I got more chirp from breaking traction, thus absolutely destroying my 60' and making the ET's that much higher. Next time that's my goal to work on is smoother shifts on less PSI in the tires.

Was about 65 degrees, pretty good head wind, 850PSI in the bottle (warmer isn't working right yet), Drag Radials at normal operating PSI (should have let some air out) + 50 shot N2O.

In short...it's a whole new game going from the A/T to the M/T. Can't use the same tricks so I'm basically new all over again.

more info on your car needed. Seems like it would be running Mid to low 14's though

those times are rather slow. I usually run 9.1's in the 1/8 mile at 76 mph. what other mods do you have besides a 50 shot? is it wet or dry?

its a wet NX kit and I checked my data log's. I get down pretty rich. I'm pretty sure I can squeeze it some. But again, I've A) never launched a 5spd before B) have had 4 runs so far to work on solving traction issues. Foot's too heavy at the wrong times. I know the procedure for launching but it's gonna take practical application and I bet we will see things change for the better

My mods are in my sig
