Installing new suspension - current sub encloser = new ideas?

I'll soon be installing new struts on my car which means I will have to remove the current setup I have in my car. I'm now debating about redoing the trunk since all the audio equipment will be removed anyways. I will re-use my 3 JL 8w6's, but may be looking for a different design this time. I have a few ideas in my head, but thought I'd see if any of you guys may have some as well. I'm going to avoid fiberglass, so we're looking at baltic birch ideas I guess.

You can see pics of my current setup here.

Equipment I will be using:

3 - JL Audio 8w6's
1 - MTX Road Thunder 2160 Amp (subs)
1 - Eclipse EA-3422 Amp

Thanks in advance,
-Tim
