This will take some searching. But, in Max Faq. There is a "how to" on repairing the part yourself, with Radio Shack components. Check it out.

Those Radio Shack bulbs are kind of pricey. $1.99-$2.99 per bulb. Assuming about 30 bulbs, you're looking at $60-90 for this mod, not to mention soldering til the cows come home. Not so sure it's really worth doing, especially since this is a low profile item...

There's a post in the For Sale forum that was talking about it a while back... the subject kinda died. I still want one.

I know Wings west sells them for their aftermarket spoilers. Try asking them.

Oh ya. Here is another place that sells replacement spoiler lights. They may be able to custom make you one.
But I'd imagine it would be expensive.

Here is an old thread with plenty of information. There's even a pic of someone's white max with the clear led light installed. Check it out:

I got my clear spoiler light from the link above (racdyn-usa.com). It is not a direct replacement for the maxima spoiler light but it does fit almost perfectly. You need to modify it a little to make it work. What i did was cut off the plastic screw tabs on the clear one and used 3M double sided tape to put it on. I love the way it looks on my black 97SE, it looks even better if you have the clear rear turn signal mod. If you have any more questions, i'm more than happy to help just email me.

Please share a pic if you can. I would like to see what it looks like on a black max.
