New owner - what color do I have?

Hello everyone. I just picked up a 2000 GXE for my daughters first car. I can't believe what great shape it is in for being 6 years old. (born date is 4/99) The interior is flawless and the exterior is in excellent condition too. Whoever owned it took really good care of it. It has 95,000 miles on it and I had a mechanic look it over and he said everything is in great shape.

We have one problem though. We can't figure out what color it is. Sometimes it looks silver and other times it looks beige. Maybe someone could help us out?

I think there is a color code in the vin #, but could be wrong. Check door stickers too. Good purchase!!

I hope your daughter takes care of it. From the looks of it, it looks like either a Sterling Mist or Sunlit Sand.

Great, that is nice to know. Thanks!

I will definitely see to it that she takes care of it. I have already warned her about that. I'm a fanatic over my car and I've already taken this one under my wing. Besides, I plan on cruising around in this baby myself sometimes.

Yup, yup... Sterling Mist. I love the color. Hides the dirt a bit better than lighter or darker colors when you can't find the time to wash her. Congrats on the purchase! I just past the 97,000 mile mark. These cars can go a good 200,000 without skippin' a beat. Congrats on the purchase!
