2005 G35x rims on a 4th gen

my friend just bought a new G35x and wants to get new rims...i am thinking about getting his stock rims from him and maybe use his tires also...will those rims and the tires fit into the wheel well of my 4th gen max?

I've seen max's on here with those rims. So the rims should fit (I don't know if they needed spacers or not).

However, I think the tires may have a larger diameter than your maxima's tires which would throw-off the accuracy of your speedometer a bit.

I'm not entirely certain, but it would be worth checking on.

yeah i think their all the same design with the exception of the size. stock are 17" i believe, unless his friend paid for 18"s, which i think are too heavy. 17"s look good enough and offer the best perf. IMO

the 17s and 18s look very similar, but the g35 coupe with the 18s look much better IMO. the 17s look somewhat odd.

Good point 2 Da Max. I have heard that you wouldn't be able to use the center cap on because of that. Something about the splined end of the drive shaft sticking out. Maybe I'm wrong. Do a search in the forum.

Ive got the 350z rims on my car. The G35 rims will fit on your car but the tire size is different because it is RWD.my rims are the same way, 2 of my tires are 7.5 and the other 2 are 8's rotating them isnt to cool because they are different sizes. I can only rotate them front to back. They still for in my wheel wells but when the 8's are up front there is a visual difference. Also the tires are going to be directionals. I love the 350z rims on my car but when my potenzas wear out im getting rims that are all the same size all the way around. It is just food for thought. They will look sick on there but there will be a size difference.

2005 G35x rims on a 4th gen

the bolt pattern is a 114.3mm or 4.5". Dont know about the offset. I have 17" rims from a 2003 max and looks good.
