window switches and other in/exterior questions

Okay, so the lamest tint guys on earth tinted my car. They got their liquid shiit ALL OVER. on my back seat, my window swithces, door panels. I mean they really slopped taht **** everywhere.
I brought it back and complained and pointed out waht i wanted cleaned. The guy couldnt guarantee it could be cleaned, which would explain why his employees, or himself, was so careless in the first place(sarcasm).
i got the car back and he hardly did anything, he only cleaned the drivers side window switches. I dont know waht he used, nor was i in the mood to ask, nor do i want to call him and ask.
SO i was wondering what i could use to clean my window switches. They look like they have a milky dull substance on them, which makes it look like thye are faded and i hate it.

another topic would be how to properly clean my front bumper (1995) valences. The black plastic inside the valence looks faded. I just repainted my grille black and its SHINEY BLACK BLACK, so it makes the bumper black plastic look even more faded.
ALSO, how do you clean the plastic railing that goes along the side of the car? mine is faded and ugly as heck.
thank you!

I think, at least for the most part, tinters use either dish washing soap or baby powder with water. This is how the position the tint without it sticking to the window where the don't want it. Have you tried any normal interior cleaners like Meguiar's Vinyl Wipes or something similar?

For restoring exterior trim (rubber, plastic, vinyl), I've found that Mother's Back-To-Black works extremely well.
You can read about it here: http://www.mothers.com/products/prod...ecialprod.html (it's the 2nd item on the page).
You can buy a bottle at WalMart for 3 or 4 bucks and the bottle is big enough to last a long time.
Hope that helps!

I'm talkin about body colored railing. But ill check out the back to black.
The stuff they spilled on my leather seats I cleaned with some meguiars wipes yes.
But the wipes don't work on my door panels, what works for that?

Hmm....a railing on the side of your car. Maybe that's why so many old people drive Maximas?? j/k...it sounds like it's painted. You could try a paint polish. It may bring back the shine. Be sure to wax it after you polish.
