Diamond Audio Components...

I think I'm going to go with the Diamond Audio D661(s) ("s" = silk tweeter, "a" = aluminum tweeter) components. I heard a set of Diamond component speakers at a local stereo shop over the weekend and they were amazing! The only issue is that I'm not sure if the ones I heard were the ones I'm planning to buy, or if they were a different model. I guess it doesn't really matter, because either way I was very much impressed by their sound quality. Anybody out there with experience with Diamond? Somebody please let me know if these are as good as I think they are...

Your help and comments are greatly appreciated.

BTW - I have listened to Boston Acoustics, Kicker, MB Quart, Kenwood, Alpine, MTX and Polk Audio (MOMO), and of course Diamond Audio. The D661(s) I have found are selling for under $200 on eBay, whereas locally, I've been quoted $350 for the set (not including installation). If I shouldn't go this route in purchasing Diamond Audio products and theres another way for me to go, please let me know.

Just to let you know, Diamond has a strict policy against online sales, and therefore you will get no warranty buying online. But yes, Diamond is as good as you think they are, Ive always been a big Diamond fan.

i dont recommend buying diamond online....

That being said D3/CM3 comps aree great for the $$. And the D6's are leaps and boung better sounding than the last gen M6 line- they can be convertible/braxially mounted for on axis tweeter mount as well.

The problem is that I'm having a tough time finding someone local that sells them for a decent price. I saw Diamond Audio's disclaimer, so now I have to find someplace that I can get them installed and properly warrantied.

Thanks for pointing that out to me, guys!
