I was just wondering if anyone has or has had a 1/2 din speaker mounted in the middle console, i saw that clarion sells them and thought it mite be nice to have. Im planning on replacing my bose h/u and will have some extra room in that panel.

 

1/2 din speaker huh? work in audio electronics and never heard this term. if you aren't running a single din dvd player that is 5.1 compatible than this setup is pointless. it is possible to do this off of 4 speaker output setups by matrixing (spellcheck :suprised the fifth channel from the 2 fronts but i doubt that is what you want. let me know of any other ?'s. There is some pics also of a 4th gen somewhere on cardomain where they put a 3" spkr in the dash if youre bored and want to do some searchin.
