ok guys i kno spring/struts threads are all over this section of the forums but i have a question.. which in ur honest opinion do u think has better ride quality. and durability?

 

illuminas carry lifetime warranty, kyb is 1 year. i used to have illuminas. so illuminas get my vote.

 

Illuminas ride 100000x better then any other strut available for our cars.

 

koni yellows > illuminas > agx > gr2s > tokico HPs

 

Illuminas they more handling and better quality.plus USA product heheh

 

agx vs illuminas is like saying:


Made in USA vs Made in Japan...

...and I don't know about you, but aside from that fact that illuminas are truly better to begin with, I'd take the illuminas over the agx just for the above reason alone. No disrespect to things made here...I just prefer things made there more because of better manufacturer craftsmanship and quality of products.

Oh, wait a sec...our Maximas were made in Japan! Wooooo Hoooo!

yea konis are better than all, and they carry lifetime like Illuminas...it just difficult to install them because u need to cut your old struts and use the shells to house the rear koni I believe.

 

I have AGX..well I like them

 

agx are good struts!

 

I have illuminas and like them, but they are paired with GC's so it cancels some of it out and it rides ok but handles good.
