Today when I went to grab something to bite at a Restaurant in Thornhill in Toronto, my Maxima died on me! When I was leaving the restaurant I tried to start the car and it started and then died after 2 seconds. I then tried calling Nissan Roadside Assistance and my phone was died. After 20 minutes trying to find a pay phone, I finally got a hold of them and they sent a tow truck.

When we reached my dealer (Alta Nissan), to my surprise they didn't even have any loaner cars! Luckily, Eddie, one of the guys that works at Alta who helped organize our last Maxima Meet gave us his '01 Altima for the rest of the week.

When I asked one of the Nissan mechanics about the problem, he told me that the vehicle immobilizer system got screwed up. This is not the first time this has happened to my car. My mom had to get the car towed a few months ago for the same problem. I guess the only good thing about my day was that Eddie told me that he would come down on May 26th for our meet in Oakville and give out prizes and stuff.
