they are not new.... I have them, Cm must have just started to carry them, they have been out for awhile, I have had them for over a year and they were old news then.

however, it is a great bulb. Best bulb if you dont want to pay for HID.

bought mine from THESE guys, great service.

The GT-X is engineered to resemble the color output of Porsche & BMW HID's w/ a bluish/purplish color. The Super Whites are exactly that; A brighter much stronger light. In addition, the Super Plasma GT-X operates at a color temperature of 5000K while the Super White operates at a color temp of 4300K (pretty self explanitory). I would personally go with the GT-X, but that of course is up to your liking.

Not trying to jack your thread but does anyone have any experience with Silverstar bulbs for their fogs???

My Piaa Super Plasma's blow out every 6 months or so and I want something a little easier to get but I want them to match my HID's.

My experience with Silverstars is that it is on par with any other generic 4300k bulb on eBay. If you want something that is proven whiter and brighter, get OSRAM Silverstars. They are the European version, and produce a white light w/o a blue coating on the bulb.

contact who you bought them from. they have a one year warranty on them, they should send you new ones for free. If they won't, Piaa will, they just want you to try throught the dealer first.

Did you touch the bulb? and besides almost every bulb in fogs dont last to long, thats why I only buy cheap ones for my fogs now, I dont care if a $10 pair of bulbs go... and they make my Gt-X headlight bulbs look even brighter
