Hey guys, my drivers door has a cigarette pack sized part that needs to be painted(below the moldind at the very bottom, almost at the right corner), so I was wondering where can I get the best paint to do it myself and is it better to paint it with emanel or prime it and than just put some clear coat? Thanks! Any advice is appreciated

 

www.paintscratch.com has always been recommended to me, and on other detailing forums. Be prepared, you will need a decent amount of information about your factory paint (year, make, model, and factory paint code), but the match is outstanding.

I compared their paint to the DupliColor bottle you can get at any auto store, and their paint was a lot closer to my factory color. Plus they use better materials in their paint so it seems to bond better. Its a tad expensive, but well worth it. And you can buy it already in cans to make it easier to spray.
