I always wondered about subs, what do you when you need to put stuff in it? Or go to an airport or something.

Memphis M-Class 12" SVC. Currently wired so when I add the MC1100D amp, I'll be running 1 ohm baby....

That's actually 2.0 cu.ft. per sub. The box is 8 cu.ft. Memphis required at least 6.0 cu.ft... so that scratched out the original design for having them face up. Couldn't do that, and still have the required space.

Facing them forward, and getting the box size so it would fit back there perfectly it ended up at 8.0 cu.ft.

let me show you the hideaway pic so you get an idea exactly how big it is.

For those of you who know exactly where this is installed, you can quit your snickering now. I know I've been laughing my a$$ off.

Last time I checked... only a new Maxima had a window like this (but that's on the roof)

4 12"s in a vented box, in a extended cab Frontier... now that's insane (and hard on the ears)

my box is 1.5 cubic feet per chamber. It would be pointless for me because the box is as big as jl recomends for 12 w3v2s

Looks pretty good. Good job hiding the wires. I had three Kicker Solo-baric 12's in my 3rd gen. Three sealed enclosures. Xtant 1001d. It was very loud. I must say my current set up beats it up hands down. I would be willing to be, time and money available, that 2 of those in a properly vented enclosure would take up about the same space and be louder. Just my experience though. I would love to hear it.

im not a fan of kicker solobarics yea they put out xtreme bass, but what good is bass if theirs no clarity? THey are pretty decent subs though. My friend had 2 15" kicker l7's ported in his pathfinder. on a KX1200.1 i think he hit like 156.1db.

----LOL SORRY thats a typo 2 15's

With 12 15"s, I could be at world finals. I am not sure where you got the idea that L7's are poor in the SQ department. With the proper box, they will sound fine as well as have excellent SQ. With a poorly designed box, I could make my TDX 12's sound muddy. It's all in the box.
