Brake line damage from rsb?

Anyone has brake line damage or malfunctioning from their RSB pressing against it in the rear? My mechanics told me it is rubbing and pressing against the line but it is nothing serious. Should I get a set of goodridge SS lines? Is it a noticable improvement over stock in performance? Thanks in advance.

if it's damage replace them for your safety, and remove the bolt and put it in the other way. I'm assuming you have the Stillen one.....

To make sure this didn't happen, I bought some poly tubing from home depot, cut it to size then slit it open. It wraps nicely around the brake line, and has stopped all wear.

This is for a Cattmann RSB.

I bought some 1/4 inch clear vinyl tubing from Lowe's and wrapped it around my brake lines in the rear and the stainless steel brake lines in the front to prevent rubbing. I heard about this problem before so I was little proactive from the get go.

there was no damage with the brakelines as we checked today but the brakelines were pourly relocated causing inner rear brake pads to be slightly engaged and were slightly rubbing against the disc causing my pads to disappear every 10-15k miles.

Just reverse the brackets so the longer screw is facing the opposite way. Then problem solved.

are you talking about the brake line or the abs line. For the stillen rsb, the abs sits inside the grooves of the rsb brackets against the trailing arms and the brake line is behind the trailing arm and should not have any problems if you reverse the one bolt so that the head and not the threaded side comes into contact with it
