drove a 5th gen for first time

Hey
i have owned a 4th gen for over 2 years now and love it, and had my first experience with a 5th gen when i was driving my friends grandmothers car up to MA from FL a few weeks ago. personally i didnt like it as much. yes it was comfortable and all, but i found it way to easy to spin the tires while accelerating at not even very fast speeds. The turning radius also seemed very poor. I understand it is a larger vehicle, which could account for some of this, but honestly i was a littlle suprised about these 2 things, seeing that i have heard a lot of good things about these cars. im sure they are still great, i just thought i would share my thoughts.

two words: Craptenza's and barge. Ya, the stock tires suck. That accounts for most of the spin. And, yes, it feels like manuvering the Titanic up the Potomac in parking lots.

Tire spin could also be caused by a more obvious culprit: alot more POWER than a 4th gen :

turning radius sucks (price you pay for wider tires with same size wheel well), but you get used to it....

i think you are barking up the wrong tree posting not so hot reviews of 5th gen max. =) most people here love thier 5th gen, othrewise they would not own it, or would not go to the .org at all.
