After a night of go-karting and PF Changs (chinese resturant)... I had the urge to .drums. DRAG RACE!!

My friend has a '98 Civic HX. He's a 280lb guy. I was in my Max with 4 passengers (all weighing 100lbs-170lbs). We race on the on-ramp to the freeway... you guessed it... he was dismantled at every speed and at every RPM.

I get home and had this idea of racing him in my CRX (ITA/CSP prepared). It's a 90 HF with horrible alignment settings for drag racing, and super stiff suspension. I race his Civic in my CRX. I crush him (my CRX weighs probably 1900lbs with driver). Then... I got this inkling to race my Maxima...

Since my Maxima has had a best of 14.90s stock with the 18s and is now K&N, Y-piped, and removed resonator...I figured... My CRX has had a best of 16.01@93mph with horrible 60' of 2.6s (on BFGs)...i figured, "what the heck, I will not allow myself to say that my car is faster than my car "

I have my friend (140lb guy who drives a CRX) drive my Maxima and I take the CRX...We line up... i let him go first and he spins it through first and I'm gone. WHAT?! How could this happen?!

Next, I have my friend (270lb) who drives the civic race me (since he's a better driver)...We line up...he spins a bit, and stays with me through 1st (where I had half a car lead)...in 2nd, I took a car and it's where he gave up...

I was gonna drive my Max and have someone in the CRX...but, the CRX has a weird clutch which takes some time to get use to...

So, results are: 2000-2001 Maxima with K&N, Y-pipe, removed resonator will lose to a CSP/ITA 1990 Honda CRX HF with a estimated 115FWHP on street tires. I won/lost to my own car!
