e-brake "brake light"

yesterday my "brake" light started to turn on.. and blink, and on and off again, with every light touch to the ebrake, the light blinked.. you need to hold the brake down w/ some force for the light to stay off... but it blinks with every drive i make. Brake fluid level is at max, and i don't know if there is anything i can do to fix this easlily and quickly.

any ideas?

Your brake fluid is low. The light has two duties: e-brake and low fluid.

Since I'm fairly certain that a Cel code would be thrown in place of a rotor problem, the light should only come on in the case of a bad e-brake sensor or if the e-brake is engaged (knock on wood). But since you can tell if you're e-brake is up or not I wouldn't worry about it. Just remember to check the brake fluid level every now and then. And check other fluids while you're at it.
