I have a 97 GLE auto and i raced an integra...so i dropped it down to 1 and had a little rolling start at the like as he did...I believe he had a 5spd...so when i rolled and i puched it and the car didn't go nowhere...it went up to around 4500rpm and like really slowed down and gradually went up. What went wrong should i have stopped completely because i usually burn out a little??? Also my switching from gear 1-2 is kinda gerky like a little???What should i have done or do???

 

i usaully hate starting off from a rolling start cause i always hate putting it into 1st while moving (sinkrows in the trans) i usaully put it into 2nd and slowly rev up to some real power...plus i always get a jerky start off when i put it into 1st while moving just my .02
