Hey guys,
What do yu think overall about the y-pipes that are available. I know that fitment of Cattman pipes are a problem but what are the overall feeling of which pipe is better? Any input is great! Thanks!

Here is my personal input.I think that WSP is way better than Cattman. For too many reasons.Customer Service being the biggest factor though. And of course WSP dynoed theres to be 8+HP over Cattman.Plus the price is about 100 bucks cheaper. And NO this is not a case of you get what you pay for either.

8 more hp then cattman?

So what total horsepower did they come out as the y pipe gaining over stock? Has anyone else tested this, because manufactures numbers tend to sometimes be a little generous.

I hope the WSP Y-pipe is better because I should have it by Friday along with the WSP CAI. I wanted a yellow one but was tired of waiting, so I ordered a blue one. I will say that customer at WSP is great. I was curious about what the colors looked like and asked if Dallas could take a picture of them and e-mail me, it took no more than 10min before the pic was in my mail. I talk to him on the phone twice for more than 30 min and he was very helpful and didn't try to talk me in to spending more money. All I wanted was the CAI at the time, but he impressed me so I got the Y-pipe too.

Heres the dyno chart of their pipe...pretty impressive I'll say. I think I am leaning toward the WSP Pipe now...

$370 with shipping to your front door. For a SS Y pipe you can beat that.

The 'other' Y pipe could have been the stock Y pipe. I find it hard to believe it gets 6.7hp more than a Cattman!

Next time someone talks to Dallas, you should ask him.

i have the cattman and i like it a lot even though it was pricey...but i thought what the heck....it sucks because they discontinued there cheaper model and now all they sell are the stainless which is what i got...but i like it even though it was a bit more..yet i have no experiences with the warpspeed y either so i guess my opion on that would be invalid...but so far no complaints with my cattman pipe

WSP y-pipe

The dyno results are valid. We compared them head to head on my 93 SE. BTW thats also when I discoverewd my spark plugs were burning up on my rear bank of cylinders, most likely related to the BIG dent in the Cattman pipe. Don't run a y-pipe with a big dent in it.
We will now be putting on the brand new type of flex pipe, it's lined and since its been on my car for 500 + miles, no bees in the can. It just came out. I would venture to say no one else is using it.
BTW we are going tro start offering a non-mandrel bent y-pipe as well/. It will be even less expensive, but still have the quality flex section. Prices will be posted in 48hrs or less. Expect it to be around $175.

I'm gonna lock this thread for fear that I may bust a circuit letting you post corny Cattman jokes.

You want answers? Try e-mailing Cattman and he'll answer them. If he doesn't, then you take a legitimate step towards proving your point, rather than taking cheapshots behind a keyboard.

You want to complain about Cattman? Do it in the Dealer Shop and Experiences forum. That's why it's there.

I don't think it is valid to compare dyno results of a busted Cattman pipe to new WSP pipe, but that's just my opinion. WSP has a good product. Cattman has a good product. Decide on merits and leave the personal attacks for e-mail or PM's.

Competition is great because we win. WSP's offerings should not give you a green light to disrespecting Cattman's efforts over the years. The constructive questions here should be brought up in another topic. If I see more b!tching about Cattman, etc. then deletions will ensue.
