I am doing the comeplete 02-03 conversino on my 2001 ae max. I have the canadian versino so i have the daytime running lights on. The wiring colors are also different from the us max. Could anyone give me the wiring color codes for a 2001 canadian max? Thanks

 

You can get an FSM from http://www.phatg20.net/ and I think it includes wiring for Canadian version...

 

I have Canadian AE SE and I did the retrofit projector HID. The problem is with the H4 plug. The plug connector has power on the right for low and high beam. The ground for low beam is up, and high beam is on the left (as on my diagram). If you connect the high beam to the H4 plug the high beam and the DTRL will work correctly. Problem is with the low beam (HID). If you connect it to the H4 plug the low beam will go off when you put on the high beam. For that reason I connected the low beam (HID) to the parking light as on my diagram.

 

Ok that does help. However, i dont know which wires from the wiring harness to hook up to each bulb. I dont have a wiring color code list for a 2001 canadian maxima.

 

Here is the color code for 2001 Canadian Maxima:
LH plug: terminal 3 (+) - P
terminal 2 (-) LB - G/Y
terminal 1 (-) HB – Y
RH plug: terminal 3 (+) OR/B
terminal 2 (-) LB – L/B
terminal 1 (-) HB – LG/B
P = pink, G = green, Y = yellow, L = blue, B = black, LG = light green,
OR = orange.
