I have recently installed a budget Y pipe, it works well but i had to take it off becaouse im dropping the transmission, what i noticed is that the gasket provided by Budget is a POS, it fell apart while i was remving the pipe and then left pices stuck to the pipe which i has to scrape off. I suggest to anyone installing budget to get a new stalk gasket for the CAT connection.

 

If I remember correctly I think if you use the stock gaskets they work better...

 

what do you mean by left peices stuck to the pipe?? like it was melted??

 

lol sorry i was in a rush, but i ment to say was you should use oem ones, try to find them somewhere...

 

The gasket fell apart and parts of it got just mushed onto the pipe so much they wouldent come off, not really melted.

 

wow, what a POS. is it the paper lookin one? got sum from warpspeed and its holdin up fine
