Sway bar question
Sway bar mounting question
I've recently installed a Progress Sway bar on the Max and I have only one question.
Does the position of the bushing/bracket on the axel matter? Should they be as wide as possible or does it make any difference?
Okay, so that was 2 questions...oh well.

I was wondering about it a while back as well. Blackmax said what I had seen on here. Can't say I know from experience, but they say the trailing arms are where you can adjust the feel. Not much room to adjust mine and I never tried. I hear the difference isn't much but I could be wrong on that.
I just installed a Progress bar and it feels great, but the bushing is placed so that it's JUST at the end of the bar. I couldn't move it farther back on the trailing arm without having take another bolt off the brake lines...
But I can definetely feel a big difference. In hard corners, all 4 tires squeal instead of just the back too and everything just feels tighter and more well balanced. I was hoping I'd get more oversteer though....

I meant there isn't supposed to be much difference in the way it works because of where the mounts are, not by the thing being there. I have the bar, it makes a huge difference. The location of the mounts is only supposed to make a slight difference, if any.
The FSTB made a big difference for me, the rear strut tower brace is supposed to have a minimal impact, the rear sway bar being the best overall investment (of the three).
