what is the offset on those rims? proper offset you will have no rubbing lowered with that setup on 235 40 18s

If anybody can help me with maximum tire size for 17 x 7.5 wheels.
I have 1996 Maxima GLE, I bought 17in Konig Verdict off garage sale, cheap.. it has 215 45 R17 NANKANG tires.. i m not sure if these are any good, however, it definately needs to be replaced cus 2 are badly beaten... I wanna change all four of em... I was wondering if 225 50 R17 would fit without getting rubbed with the inside while turning.. Please if anyone can suggest size of the tires.. thanks in advance.

go 235/45/17. this will keep the overall diameter the same as stock so your speedometer wont be off. and by the way, dont post questions of your own in other peoples threads..some people get **** about that, its called highjacking a thread like im doing cause you cant receive pm's.
