Flowmaster 50 vs. Greddy Muffler

I have an 02 Max. I currently have a Greedy cat back and B pipe which is rusted. I'm installing a Warp Y and Budget B. I orderd a Flowmaster 50 but my Greddy straight through muffler (big fat can) is stainless and in perfect shape. I wondering if I'll be happy with the performace of the Flowmaster. It's a 3 chamber muffler with a 2.5" outlet the Greedy is straight through with a big 4 or 5" opening. Will there be a decrease in performance going with the FLow over the Greddy? Aany other condierations. I'm trying to get rid of the Highway drone but I love the sound of the Greddy around town. I also care about performance too. Thanks in advance.

they should both flow about the same. a muffler doesn't make a difference, maybe 4hp at the crank. i personally wouldn't put either one on my car but to each his own.
