Well figured out what was wrong with my car, if you read my other post my car kept dying on start up. My dad traced it to this vacum thing that helps keep the pressure when car started. He doesnt know the name of it, and I hope someone could tell me so I can get the part to replace it. It is in the upper right hand side of the engine. Anyone know?

 

It may help if you had a picture. Idle Air Control Valve?

 

Oh went to Kragens its called a vacum advance. They said you have to buy it from nissan.

 

Anyone have idea how much these go for at the dealer?

 

Just curious, what's wrong with the car, what codes were pulled etc? The only other psot I read was you asking where the cap & rotor are .. and the fact is, they're not.

 

OH yeah well the chiltons book talks about a rotor and such but noticed it said it was for a certain engine type. No my car kept dying on start unless you rev it a few times and my dad traced it to a shot advanced vaccum pump that went out. Just curious as how much nissan charges for one of these since this is a dealer part.
