My hazard light switch does not work... i looked behind the console and the button is plugged in i just dont understand why it doesnt work...
My turn signals all work perfect and it seems my max is cursed with electrical issues becuase not only do the hazards not work but the passenger doos speaker, tweeter, and door light are all out i took door panel apart and everything is plugged in and fine there too whats going on??????

Can anyone help me with this??

Well, it's either a fuse or a short. Turning bulbs can work fine but they won't work when you turn on the hazards cause they have an independant circuit. I read your other thread about this and I saw no mention of checking fuses. About the speakers, when did they blow, what were you doing during the time they blew?

Doesn't the hazards have a relay?
About the blown speakers i don't have a clue.... mine were out on only one side as well. I replaced it with a new speaker and still got nothing.
I have no clue when it comes to electircal wiring.

Did you check to see if the button itself works? Perhaps the switch is broken. Should be easy to test with a multimeter/continuity tester.

The only think that i could possibly think would be like to do a power flow test. LIke get a wiring diagram of the hazard/turn signal circuits. Do u have power going TO the switch? Do u have power to the bulb? do u have flow to ground?

I do know that if my haz switch is not hooked up, some other lights won't work. But it shouldn't affect the stereo stuff. The reason why it's stumped .org is because your descriptions are WAY to vague. You know how hard it is to diagnosis crap over the net? Without seeing the car and w/o knowing what you did before??

How about some simple tests with the volt/ohm meter to confirm you are actually getting POWER to these items?? And live Dave said, check all fuses first.

+1...99% of all electrical problems are obviously a result of not getting power to the items for whatever reason. A multimeter is essential and every orger should have one! Just pick a cheap one up at Walmart or something for like $10, it'll do the job. If you can find where power is and where it isn't you'll likely be able to figure out what is at faut in the connection.

ok, when u push the hazard button, does ur turn indicators flash? (in your dash)
does the light behind your button work? (headlights need to be on)
Did u mess with your LED's behind the climate control?
Could be a short, could be a broken button , could be a busted fuse
id check if there was any power running through the switch when the circuit is closed (switch on).
If no power, perhaps the circuit board is damaged, or the wire for this hazard light that runs to the board is damaged. Check for power BEFORE the board (no idea what wire at this point as my dash is in the car, and im not taking it out) and after the board (before the switch)

Temporary fix (signal left then right really fast)

Still no word whether EVERY SINGLE FUSE AND RELAY were checked, under the dash and under the hood.

Are you being serious or a ***** again? The tone of that posts seems a bit sarcastic.
Why would I need to draw anything? Every relay and fuse box has the component listed on the bottom of it. If you have a multimeter, just set it for continuity and check it across each fuse/relay.

Hey check the fuse box in the engine bay on the right hand side. And look for one marked ....crap I cant remember. But I will look when I go home. And let you know cause I haev had a similar problem, that and check the fuse under the dash on the right side. You might have to check every single one but it might be that too.

once I had a problem with my wipers. They stopped working in the middle of a hailstorm and later on i had to drive home in torrential rain. It was a real bichh. I checked everything ... took out the steering wheel column, the switch, the relays in the engine bay, the fuses, you name it.
in the end, a mechanic friend found a "false contact" in the driver side fuse box. I mean, that thing drove me crazy, not to mention how important wipers really are. I know this is not your problem, but you could be having a similar issue
