Hey, I had a shop replacing a CV boot on my car and they were also doing a 90K service on the car and told me I should get my injectors and throttle body cleaned out. They said there's a decent amount of carbon build up and it looks like it has never been flushed. My question is is this normail to get done and how much have you'll that have gotten it done paid for it? Thanks in advance for your help!

 

screw that stuff, just use some Seafoam. (do a search or check out the maintenance forum). The throttle body you can clean easily by hand.

 

you can clean it yourself with $10.00, seafoam in the tank and thru the booster vacuum and Sea foam Deep creep to clean the TB.. you save like $100.00 depending on where you are....
