Well, today i decided i was going to buy my KS at the local Discount Auto Parts, which is only a football field away from here. Anyways, as I'm in the parking lot, all in joy to replace this demonic part of my engine, some idiot backs up into me!

This was the Convo (He's from like india or somethin, we'll call him the taliban)

Me:...wtf
Taliban: Are joo stupid? Didn't Joo see me backing it up?
Me:*calls the cops*
Taliban:this is all jour fault *goes back inside the dry cleaners, which i think he owns, and brings some more towelheads outside*
Me:umm, ur an idiot because i have the right of way. you shouldve looked both ways, this isnt an elephant where it goes as it pleases...*i got into a bad mood as u can see*

i guess he took it personally and went inside the car (corolla 97) and reved the engine up and right when he was doing that, a cop walks out of Burger King and calls his little power rangers along....joy guess ill be recieving a check soon...

How much would you say the damage cost be? I also have a friend who owns a body shop so w/e money i get from their insurance, which ill post later, ill see wut should spend on the left over...

I just got a $2700 check from Geico for almost the same thing. I am having a guy do the body work for 200, got a Stillen kit, 97-99 front end (paid by my friend who backed into me), and then painting it all.

 

lmao yea....well my mom has a yukon and hadn the same accident but on her door too, and the check came back to her for 985...pretty dope

 

You should get a lot more then that. They will give you a new QP.

 

quarter panel? how are you gunna replace the damaged part if it runs all over the car???...its not a piece of body like a bumper? will there be a need of cuttin my baby...

 

Yeah it gets cut right above the rear door. You don't have to. Insurance will do what is needed to bring the car back to being perfect. That would be to put a new QP on. You can have it pulled bondo'd and painted. I am going with the pull and bondo. Although that dent doesn't seem to be very sharp you will still need some bondo. For me I need a little along a couple creases so its not too bad, but insurance still gave me money for a new QP then paint the rear door, bumper, hood, trunk, spoiler and other QP.

And not even that much. Maybe 3/4 up the rear window. I wouldn't even worry about it insurance will treat you right on this. And if you can do some work yourself it will help you save a lot.

and i get so pissed when someone knows they are in the wrong and they are angry that they made a mistake so they start getting aggressive and try to justify their mistake.
its one thing to make a mistake, but once they start defending themselves thats when i get f*ckin pissed off. At least he spoke english...and at least its only body work.
i dono if you know my story, but it all came out of my pocket, and most of it was glass-related.
