Changing headlight Assembly

Over the weekend someone smashed in both of my headlights. Im not sure what night it was, or where it happened, or who did it. so needless to say im pretty mad.
After calling almost every junkyard in the tri county area I could only find the right headlight (Witch was suposibly aftermarket) for $140.
started calling parts stores and eventialy I found both of them for $160 after tax. got them today and am having problems getting them in.
does anyone know how to do this?
I can get all ot the bolts out exept the 2 on the outside, where somehow you either have to take off the fender or cornering light. But I cant figure out how to get the cornering light out without taking out the headdlight.
im probably going at this all wrong so if anyone can correct me it would be greatly apreciated.

By the way:

Thanks for any help

Slip a flat head screwdriver in the little space between the headlight and corner light and pry the corner light out. It's really stuck in there good, so don't be afraid to use some force. Just when you feel like you're going to break it, it will magically pop out.

Good luck!

If it's the same as the 1997...there is a small black latch that you need to pop out. After a little tugging you should see it. Stick a flat head right in between the bluck latch from the headlight and push whichever to the side of the corner light.

For some reason I always thought the bumper had to come off to get the headlights off.

There is also a screw holding that corner light on... and if you are still having trouble try using some WD-40 and spraying that ball joint taht is holding the corner in place
