is this whats throwing me the "EVAP control system/Flow" code? [PICS]
upon close inspection, i think i have found what has been throwing me the 0111 code which is for EVAP control system/Flow. im 99% sure this is the problem since the tube to the "evap purge cut valve" somehow has been cut. how do i go about fixing this? i think i need to change the valve or can i just use some tape and put it back together?

Yes, that is most likely the culprit. If it was just a hose, you could use some tape to seal it, but since that whole thing is broken off, get a new one. I don't think the EVAP purge cut valve is too expensive.
My code was 0304? Someone on this thread mentioned getting a used valve. IMHO and the opinion of the Nissan dealer, these bad-boys have a finite life and are designed to go bad south of 60k. So getting used just wastes a lot of labor and is not time well-spent. My .02....
That is your problem Mike. You need a new one, unfortunately I just sold mine for $25.
You could just glues it back together but that runs the risk of the glue blocking the air passage. Tape could work for a short time. Get a hot glue gun, hold the broken piece in place and glue it around the break.
Also what was the need to open another thread about the same problem?

Oddly enough I have a 1995 and those EVAP Purge valves are no where in site. I've seen them on other later year maximas, which is located just behind the TB ontop of the Intake manifold. I'm curious if I even have one?
