Help with tires???

Hello,

Just bought 17 x 7.5 rims....

Have installed tokico adjustables with springs ~1.5" drop visible.

What size tires to go with? 235/45-17? or 225/45-17?
Going for wide look with maximum traction.
Notice the 7.5 width of the wheels though.

Also, somebody told me to put 5mm spacers in the back - to fill out the wells. Is that a good thing to do?

Thanks in advance...

I don't think 17x7.5 will get stack with the spring, so you don't need a wheel spacer for that. Unless you want your car to look even wider.
I have my 350Z wheels and tires on my Max, and it is 235 at the back too. They give me good traction.
So for your 7.5 , i suggest you to put 235 at the front and back.

235/45/17 , it will be nearly identical to the OEM diatemer so your Speedo will not be off.

that's what I thought too,
but then I heard that 235/45-17 might be too wide on a 7.5 rim...? that 225 is better?
What do you think...?
Does anybody have any issues with a similar setup...?

Thanks

I would go with the 235's on it. It will fill out the wheel wells better and you will probaly like the ride better. I have 225's on mine right now and I cant wait until these get worn so I can get 235's next time
